Title: Clearing Airbag error light software

Hi, I had a little £10 device that cleared errors from ebay which worked fine but ive lost it...

I have a cheap blue wire that connects from the car to a laptop though, is there any software to clear errors for the mk5 gti? I looked at vcds lite but it does not support the mk5 :(

Is there any other other free software or do I need to spend another tenner?

Find a member with a vcds cable from here http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,120.msg1061.html#msg1061 and it's a 2 minute job.

Thanks, the nearest person to me would cost more to drive to them to clear, car is off road too.

Where are you based as not everyone with a vcds cable has registered on that link.
