Hi am away to pick up a set of amg wheels next Sunday I know the fronts fit as had 8j wide on front before in 19s but its 18s am buying its more there rear am needing info on as would like to know if I need to mod car in any way :) I had 19s rear 8j wide before and they fitted :) there going on a mk5 tdi golf
Here is the sizes of new wheels and tires
Fronts are: 18x8 ET26 with Toyo Proxes 4 205/40/18 both new with good tread.
Rears are: 18x9 ET30 with 225/40/18 still with decent tread.
They are genuine AMGs off a crash damaged Merc. Come with the rare AMG centre caps.
PCD of the wheels is 5x112, 66.6mm centre bore with Spigot rings to fit VW/Audi 57.1mm
Holes re-drilled to 14mm for VW/Audi.

Fronts are: 18x8 ET26.....
Rears are: 18x9 ET30......
Totally wrong ET...!!!
-
Yeah it is slightly more et which means sticking out the arches which I don't mind as its stretched tyres :) it's more does it hit the suspension or to change camber on rear am worried about
-
Rears would fit.
Fronts would not unless you roll your arches and have camber top mounts fitted.
On an 18x8 the lowest ET you can really go at the front without lots of work is around 38.
-
Oh rite I see so going by what u say if the offset is as Low as that it will push wheels away to hit the arch not go under it?
-
Yes.
-
Have in mind that Monzas are ET51...!
-
Yeah I had et41 before and sat nice on arches :) I could maybe get it grinded back to et 44 or something like that but will cost money
:(
Does it cost much to roll arches never had it done before
-
They will stick out 30mm ish further on the fronts and 40mm on the rears unless your building a show car would it not be better to buy wheels that fit.
-
Oh rite well it's hard to find these wheels with tires at a decent price :( there is a set for sale on here that are perfect but he don't have PayPal and am not sending money thro a bank incase I never see the wherls :(
