As above really, due to an imminent house move I'm having a clear out and have a couple of sets of old alloys, probably not any use to anybody, just wondered if they are worth weighing in???

What's the spec / Mk5 fitment?
Might make some winter wheels for somone...

No not mk5 fitment pal, a set of 15" mk4/bora alloys with tyres and a set of 16" 1 series wheels with no tyres

I was in the same situation last week. I was going to scrap 2 sets but on the way thought I'd try a wheel shop. Sold one set for £100 and second set for £120. Scrap yard was paying around £10 per wheel, try a local wheel centre first

Stick them on eBay out is better than nowt :happy2:

I sold some Mk4 Montreal wheels on eBay for £250 so have look see what there going for might be surprised

Yer I got rid of two sets of heavy 18s and only got £40 a set.
Montreals are 16'a and hold there money really well! What do the 15s look like? And where are you located?

These, with decent tyres, I'm in Bolton/manchester but travel to Chester every day, if anybody wants them you can have them for a forum donation

Never sed I sold some on there dude for my missus mk4 gt tdi for winters actually. Was going to upgrade hers for 16's till I realised how much the 16's go for. Easier to stay with 15's is only her work horse. Cheaper tyres. Read it right.

Listen fellas let's not fall out over some old wheels, it's no bother to me where they go, you did ask for details first sie, where are you based, as I'm not looking to for any money out of these just a donation to the forum so they can got to the person who we can get them too with the least inconvenience to me :happy2:

Take them to Hyde road wheel centre, you'll get cash there and then for both sets :happy2:
