Title: retrofit front fogs

thinking of retrofitting front fogs can anyone tell me what wiring i need from kufatec  its for a standard front end do i need HB4 OR H11 thanks

I think early golfs used hb4 in fish eye type fogs and its h11 in the reflector type ...I retro fitted mine and ended up with hb4 ends so had to by a conversion kit from bold-sport.com

I have a set of standard fogs which I could let you have for a few quid. They fit the standard bumper, not gt/Gti

they are for gti not standard

Yes they are but its the same principle ..just different fogs but same loom and relay and switch

Well the loom I had made was for hb4 but I fitted later reflector type lights and they were h11 ...if you ring vw and ask what bulb should be fitted to your car with optional fogs fitted they will tell you what should be in as standard then you can order loom to suit

think i got it if you look at the bulb holders the pins are close together with h11 and far apart on hb4 is this right buy yours

H11 on left (small) hb4 on right (spaced further apart )

I have standard reflector fogs which are HB4/9006 fitment.
