Title: I'm going to Wolfsburg!

Hey all
         Yeah three weeks on Thursday I will be taking the ICE from Berlin Hbf to Wolfsburg , how many of us have been before? I'd like to know how long roughly to set aside for the Autostadt , VW Museum and Factory tour? If I get there at say 9am and leave about 6 would that be acheivable? Any tips of places to go etc would be greatfully recieved - especially regarding the factory tour in English , is it a bookable in advance job?

One of the trips I've always wanted to do. Will combine it with one of my 'Ring trips one of these years. Can't offer you advice, but look forward to hearing about it.  :smiley:

Yeah , I'm really looking forward to it , it's somewhere I have wanted to go since I first started getting into VWs in the mid 1980s!

The Autostadt is good but for me the VW Museum was a lot better value as that is where a lot of the VAG prototypes are. It's dirt cheap to get in and was empty when we visited, I was like a kid in a sweet shop, didn't know which way to turn! It's only a mile or so away from the Autostadt so well worth the walk!  :happy2:

Book the English factory tour in advance as it books up quick.

Was there a few weeks back and seen the MK7 Gti being built. Factory tour is 3/4 of an hour.
