Title: Airbag light wont go out!

Hi,

I had an airbag light on the error code is 01217 which is the drivers side curtain airbag. Looked for answers and most seem to say the wiring under passenger seat. I followed the guide below...

But to no avail, it still wont clear.

Yesterday i actually noticed that the area where the airbag is is actually loose, the plastic with the seatbelt on anyway.

This is the area of the error so it seems obvious but any idea how I can fix it ? Could it be a broken sensor or something?

The curtain airbag is the airbag in the headliner, sounds like it'll need a new one if it won't erase.

Actually I'm a bit of an idiot 01217 is drivers side and I didn't realise there was wiring under the drivers seat too! Thought it was all under the passenger! 01218 is passenger...  :rolleye:

If this rewiring the drivers doesn't work then I'm back to square one but hopefully it will!

After my stupidity of the other day, I can now say the light has gone out!

I didn't have to solder the wires just removed all the connections and blew them out and put back together. After this the airbag light went out!

Thank god, MOT tomorrow!  :smiley:
