Title: need help with radio code urgent - FAO EddieNL

hello, sorry im new here and have been pointed to this forum and to EddieNL for help, and i need it quick

i have a 04 mk5 GT-TDI and have had loads of issues with the cd player,  i have just put a cd player from a mk6 in and it wants the code, i dont have the code and nor does the breakers i got the unit from.

reallllllly need some help on this ASAP guys
i have full vcds and hex-can lead, so if i can do it on vcds i can have a bash just need to know how, if any one can get the code pls help
need the car tomorrow so only have NOW to get it sorted lol

thank you in advance and i will do a bit of a RR etc at some point just reallllllllllly stuck at the moment

Ive told Terry that everyone on here is really helpful (i didnt say this forum will make him spend bucket loads tho lol)

you will need the serial number and VIN from the vehicle it came from. The dealer is the only option, other than sending it to someone who decodes radios

thank you for that, i have the serial but the breakers dont have the shell any more and couldnt help me at all :(

they must have the reg on there record's

I got the serial of my unit using Vag-com gave the serial to the dealer and they rang back with the code, wasn't asked for the reg or vin*
