Title: Cost of discs and pads
Post by: Trekmeister on May 17, 2013, 09:29:14 am
Just phoned Andrew Page to ask how much would it cost for front Bosch disks and pads and was quoted £125, called TPS and was quoted £128. TPS also said they did a standard and economy pad and disk, thought they would have all been the same (Genuine parts) I know Bosch are are a decent pad/disc but for an extra £3 I might as well get genuine parts.

I could also get Brembo discs and pads for about the same price, not sure if either will make any real difference though?

Pagid and brembos are good, wont make any difference but i highly doubt they will make them any worse!

I'm getting brembos as they are painted so that the hubs don't rust.

I don't know if Brembo are painted, Pagid on the other hand are very definitely coated.
