Does the mk5 GTI come with "GOLF" and "GTI" badge as standard?
I've noticed some have both, some have just "GTI" and very rare occasion none (but I assume owner debadged).
if it's both, or just GTI, which side should the GTI badge be, i.e. passenger or driver side on the rear?

I posted the VW location guide around here somewhere which shows exact location...

GTI's never had a Golf Badge. Should just have the GTI badge on the passenger side. :happy2:

Unless it's a LHD car where it becomes the driver's side...

...and since we're being pedantic, it's a capital "I" - GTI.

Excellent, but what are dimensions a and b supposed to be?
EDIT - found the info myself, a should be 50 mm, b should be 90 mm. Thats for a non-gti though, and the dimensions are a mirror image on the other side (except measuring from the end of the number).

I know someone with a GTI and it had both badges with the GTI on the driver side. Strange. It was a UK VW purchased car too
