I've just received an email from Michelin confirming at long last the fabled Michelin Pilot SuperSport WILL be produced in 225/40/18Y XL format.
Release date is October 2013.

Bout time!
-
Indeed.
Michelin dealers should be able to provide delivery timescales from 1 October.
-
Having said that... they are highly unlikely to be price competitive with the Eagle F1s, so i doubt ill buy them anyway :signLOL:
-
will it be in a 91y
-
It will be 92Y as per the standard load index.
-
October release will be perfect timing for the Costco discount offer :happy2:

Whose bright idea was it at Michelin to introduce a premium summer tyre at the beginning of winter :ashamed: Hmmm needs a rethink

Costco do a 20% discount offer when buying 4 Michelin tyres, runs twice a year usually May/Nov

^^^^ Thank you. :happy2:
Have heard good things about these tyres, shame I've bought new boots. How much, £130/£140 ish each?

PS3s via Costco are around £130ish per tyre before discount and i'd imagine the PSS will be priced higher so may be around the £130-140 mark after discount? I'd certainly like to try a set though as heard great things myself :happy2:

i want costco to do them in 245 40 18's for the same good price, out of luck! :rolleye:
