Title: Had my golf remapped

Had my golf gti remapped today :) only mods are decat & CAI I have had a DNA remap stage 2 with brake boost  :driver: amazing although after a hard drive my clutch smokes & my brakes fade :( I also have a boost leak where's the common places on these cars?

Check your dv they are a common problem so I've read. If they fail they leak boost.

I have just fitted a new one. basically when I hit full boost I get a squeal sound

Can I ask what a 'brake boost' is? Have you checked your boost hoses?

basically you get left foot brake as before if you tried the engine cut. I have checked them & the seals

I see, never Hurd of that before. Well all I can think of is The PCV has gone. There is a simple way to check if the PCV has failed, have a search on here As I can't remember  :happy2:

Yeah taking the oil cap off & if it runs lumpy it's ok which I did

I've got a K04  conversion with DNA tuning software. We're still working on the final map but OMG it gets better and better. You need an uprated clutch now :)
Can you explain the brake boost for me? I don't understand but I've heard John talk about left foot braking when he's track racing his Leon.

Left foot braking mod is a nice one, have been including it as standard in all of our tfsi maps for a year now :happy2:

What does the left foot brake mod do, I understand you brake with your left foot but what's the mod?
