Title: BCS Powervalve system
Post by: neg on May 23, 2013, 10:42:56 pm
Took a trip up North today to visit Nige and the team at BCS Automotive and I've returned very happy.

When I first read about the powervalve system it made sense, something that wasn't loud and annoying all the time but did the job when required. The design also took into consideration the things I wanted - no booming at motorway cruising speeds, nice tips (yes tips I said!) and it also hides the rear silencer(s) from view  - not a big thing but did annoy me a little on some others.  The system itself well - nothing short of perfection, you can tell BCS are enthusiastic in their design and quality of what they produce.

I use my car daily and visit customer sites so didn't want anything that would be really noticeable and also didn't want to upset the neighbours / wife when returning home (and possibly risk waking the kids more importantly) so this was the perfect choice for me.

When I arrived at BCS I was greeted and felt confident leaving them to it while I got on with some work using BCS's t-interweb, I was kept up to date throughout the process and had complete confidence they would get things sorted as if it was their own car - to which I was right.

The hour and a half journey home (no doubt using a little more fuel than on the way there) was great, cruising there was no booming and was pretty similar to the stock system, a nice note but nothing crazy - put your foot down and it bursts into life.  Give it some beans and flick through the gears and the DSG changes sound absolutely awesome.

Anyone looking to change their system should BCS and the Powervalve

I second that, my tailpipes are as shiny as the day I got em, 14 mths ago, with occasional Autosol cleaning of course, and as for that constant burble, still makes me smile every day! AND they are British, a win win in every way!
