On a ko4'd gti.
From what I have read the Nology Silver plugs is the current plug of choice, any reason why I shouldn't buy?
Where are people getting the silvers from? Is it the D4YS plug I search for or are there different heat variants?
Anyone point me in the direction of a removal tool too :)
Thanks!

I'll pm Alex, how much did you if you don't mind me asking, it's looking like about £40 delivered online.

I just fitted so bkr8eix. Slightly colder grade from awesome £30.95 plus del. can't knock them fitted new red coils too.
I would be interested in a group buy on a coil pack removal tool.

Why? I just use a zip tie to pull the coil packs out...

Just use your hands they pull out easy

I have used both the ngk 8 and the nology ones and can't really discern much difference between the two... :ashamed:

Coil packs pull out, I'm looking for a tool for spark plug removal, I'm sure all I need is a 14mm long socket but I'm not 100% sure lol

I use two screwdrivers or trim removal tools together mine out but I remember Alex AKS saying about the Vw tool for removal in Hardys thread and about a possible group buy. Hand then there ain't chance of damaging the, but I guess how offen do you want to be changing them anyway.
