.....does anyone rate these for the Golf? I'm sure there was a time a few years
Ago when they were very popular???

I've not used them on a golf, but they were good in the wet. They don't last very well at all on track though as they overheat and disintegrate very quickly. I'd personally recommend something more like sport contact 3's for a golf. I had a set on a Leon Cupra R and they were fantastic!
