They looked darker though, as they were almost blacked out that you would have to squint to see the car had actually hit its brakes.. Very unsafe.

Would need to see some more pics to be convinced :happy2:

I saw these a while ago and was quite tempted to try them out. If you get a pair fitted post some pictures so we can see them in action as I have only ever seen them on the Awesome website.

Post by: Tortaruga on May 30, 2013, 05:07:52 pm: The LED's are laid out in a Mk6 pattern, however the Mk6 has narrower tails to which this configuration is suited. The proportions, size and shape of the Mk5 tails don't suit this LED configuration. Maybe a different configuration, but not this.

The designers who work together at VW/Hella/Valeo are significantly more talented than the folks at 'Urban Style'.

I have Valeo tails but I really like these Urban Mk6 style tails.

Damn them for using a red Mk5 with R32 rear to show them off!

How much and where from?

I got them off a member on this forum so got them for a good price but they are available online (from Germany) for around €300. More info in this thread:

There is a video on YouTube with a German mk5 with them.

They look just like the mk6 ones.

The black ones look pants, but the tinted ones are nice :smiley:
