Title: Mk6 flat bottom steering wheel

Post by: SteveP on August 08, 2009, 07:02:37 pm: I can see it now (just), if it's a multi function wheel when you will need a reasonably new can gateway for it to work, but otherwise as far as I am aware the Mk6 wheel fits fine on the Mk5.

There are a couple of people in europe that have retrofitted the Mk6 GTI one :happy2:

Post by: x5pea on August 15, 2009, 10:23:27 pm: you can get these on ebay for around Â£400, they arent mk6 GTI ones tho, most likely from the new passat cc or scirocco but essentially they look the same. GTI has red stitching and i think is only orderable if you have a GTI

Can't remember if it was evo mag or top gear but they said it has different suspension setup and as such doesn't drive anywhere near as well as the gti
