Just goes to show that if you allow the engine to warm up and cool down properly and stick to a strict maintenance schedule there is no reason they a car shouldn't last 200k+
-
TBF, could have had a new engine and gearbox. If not, I'd be wanting it for a lot less than £4.3k.

Why?
Surely if anything it shows the car has been really well cared for.
My old TDI I sold for nearly £7k. For a 2004, 1.9 TDI. It had done 148k when I sold it!
For some people the high miles is actually peace of mind! :happy2:
-
The more miles the better! My golfs on about 163000 :signLOL:
-
... because you can pick them up with half the mileage for not much more
-
I've said it all along, why are people worrying when they hit 100k miles :stupid:
Modern engines should do 300+k miles providing serviced properly :happy2:
-
Miles is just a number so people can try get cars cheaper. It's only a number and like I always say why own a car if your never going to drive and enjoy it
-
its like women......had a few but still nice and tight :signLOL: god im :stupid:
