For some time my boost is unable to meet specified until around 5k rpm. Adjusting the wastegate actuator does nothing to the boost in the pre 5k rpm region...only changes it thereafter. WGDC looks normal as if all is OK. It drops shortly after specified hits 2.55bar. I have no error codes and never had any to date.
I've been pointed in the direction of a blown W/G actuator diaphragm.
I do not believe it is a dv or charge air leak issue.
In February the boost was identical to this graph only from 5k rpm on, the actual boost is pinned at 2.55 bar to redline.
So,
when I adjust the w/g for more boost it will reach well over 28psi, but only after the 5k mark. As you can see...right now it is slightly below specified b/c I just retarded it to look for a change in the pattern.
I am planning on looking into the w/g actuator diaphragm having a hole in it or not, but IF you have had an identical run around with this issue would you please point in a direction that leads to a destination for me?

Finally...I replaced the hpfp thrust sensor and graphed only a slight difference in boost as well as the lfp portion of the system. So then I replaced the MAP sensor on the throttle pipe and BAM!...Instant boost. I haven't recorded the data yet, but tomorrow I will and I am certain the boost is now coming on quickly and strongly per gage readings...so excited about that. I still have a Forge w/g actuator and spring set on the way ;|...but I'll still use it I guess ;p
Found this posted today...

New data from a NEW MAP sensor replacement looks like this...(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi1205.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fbb434%2Frohecht%2F1156700c-9cbb-4984-be98-e5baf940d12f.jpg&hash=4039f103ccdc17ff7374249ca90304b363d409bd) (http://s1205.photobucket.com/user/rohecht/media/1156700c-9cbb-4984-be98-e5baf940d12f.jpg.html)
