Title: carbon wing mirrors

with the prices of the wing mirror shells as they are.....
would these a] fit a mk5
and b] look the part or just cak???

Buy the casings like a few have from here, you pay for what you get thats why you bought a VW  :happy2:

Hi matsu,

Unfortunately real carbonfibre wing mirror casings are usually very expensive (over £200) unless you get very lucky. It's always a bit risky buying unseen off the likes of eBay too, but.

If you don't want to or can't spend on CF, a very effective and cheaper solution is carbon vinyl. Check Phi Mcavity's ride - It does look very good. However, I personally wouldn't mix carbon vinyl with the real stuff on the outside of a car where they can be viewed in comparison with each other - The vinyl then shows up the imperfections of the real, and the real carbon shows up that the vinyl isn't the real deal.

can you do the rear diffuser -lower part of the bumper? and how much?
