00110 - Right Mirror Turn Signal Lamp (L132)
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit
Im new to VCDS. Not really sure where to start to try and find the fault.
I was wondering if the fault was with the Electrical System Control Module J519 from what ive read.
what do you guys think? can i do any testing in VCDS
Thanks
Andy

The turn signal is possibly on its way out I am afraid.
I get that error on my driver's side one. In cold damp weather it seems to have a three stage flash. Off-1/2 bright-full bright.
It doesn't do it 95% of the time, but when it does it logs a fault exactly like yours.
It isn't doing it now - works perfectly but I know I will have to change it eventually.
I replaced my passenger side one as it got very dim. Exactly the same fault through VCDS.
The side lights could be a faulty connection or bulbs that are nearing the end of their life.
I had a similar problem with my numberplate lights. One day they just both stopped working. I checked the bulbs with a meter then lit them both with a bench power supply. Put back in the car - Don't work.
I put new bulbs in and they have been fine ever since. Still have the so-called faulty ones (couldn't bring myself to bin them as they still work).
VW have concocted a very complex bulb monitoring system the measure the current draw on the bulbs. If it dips too low (old drew less current than new ones in my case), a fault is logged. In the case of the numberplate lights - the circuit is switched off until the ignition is cycled.
Sorry for the waffle - just try changing the bulbs in the parking lights for a few £££. I am waiting for the indicator to fail as it is about £29 IRC to replace.

OK Thanks
Worth a shot for a few quid,
Andy
Prob should of mentioned they work ok when the fault indicator is not there!. Dont work when the fault is diplayed on the cluster. ive tried the VCDS output test when the fault is on the cluster the parking lights dont work and the VCDS reading drop very quickly to 0.
