Title: Rear control arms rubbing? Worn bushes?
Post by: Scrubadub on June 07, 2013, 04:33:36 pm
My mk5 gti is on air ride.  I've noticed when driving low, I get a squeaking/creaking noise, so scrambled underneath to notice this

Is this a worn bush or do I shave a few mm off the edge of the arm with a grinder?
I thought they would clear?

What rear bags do you have?
With Airlift they had some bags which could cause rubbing on the bag itself or the suspension arm if mounted incorrectly. It's probably catching as you drop it.
