Does anyone know if the standard spare wheel will fit over R32 front brakes? I presume it's a no but wasn't sure if anyone had tried.
Also does anyone know if a 17 inch Monza alloy would fit in the space under the boot that the standard spare normally sits??
Cheers Graeme

No the spare wheel is too small. You have to move a rear wheelto the front and then fit the spacesaver over where you took the rear wheel from.

Brilliant :happy2:. Why didn't I think of that?? A simple bit of logic, just a shame I didn't think of it!! :notworthy:

you can get a 18" space saver from a r32 :happy2:

It's safer to put the rear to the front if your spare is a space saver :happy2:

I had a puncture recently. Fitted over my S3 Calipers.

What size is your spare monte??
My GTI originally had 17 inch monzas so don't know if i'll have a smaller spare than a gti/ed30 that came with 18's??

I've had the oem space saver spare over my R32 calipers plenty of times with no issues :happy2:
