Hi, my names alex, im 21 and brand new to this forum based up in sunderland! Moved from a Lupo TDI to a Mini Cooper and drove past the VW garage last weekend and fell in love with this, picked it up on Friday.

Ill be putting a progress thread up as I've already started playing with it!

 The argument with my self about not modifying this car didnt last long at all!

Definitely the best colour - welcome  :happy2:

I would just partly colour code the rear bumper personally, but we all like different on here :)

Just getting my feet on the ground first lol. Not sure whether 30mm springs will be enough to close the gap or ill have to go coilovers .. Had coilovers on both of my previous cars and I don't wanna loose the comfort of the golf... Ahhhhh I'm getting old!! Haha

That would also look nice..
Everyone has different opinions which is good as you can see everything done :)
I didn't wana lose the comfort either so I went air suspension, its so comfortable.

Just fitted some AP coilovers to mine, very pleased with quality and handling. Not harsh ride at all. Pics on my thread.
