Title: Edition30 Plaque,mega quick turn around!
Post by: sanj on June 10, 2013, 11:35:17 am: Rang VW customer service's this morning and spoke with a lady with regard's to getting hold of my edition30 plaque,after so many of the horror stories on here with regard's to how long it took for member's to get them if at all!Ayway the lady told me that she would pass my request over to the correct department and said somebody would contact me within 48 hour's,low and behold 1 hour later a lady called Jenny rang me and said the plaque was ready to send out and i'd recieve it tomorrow and I was build number 47! :happy2:

There is only one plaque per car available so if the original owner or a previous owner has already rang to have it sent out to them you will not be able to get one. Still worth a ring to find out though, i was lucky enough to be able to get mine as no one had claimed it.

Says to stick it onto the drivers door but i might put mine just behind the gearstick. Still not sure yet.

As far as I know it's the registration number of your car and that the car is on the VW UK database under your name. :smiley:
