Sorry if wrong section of forum for a start... but I just want to ask a questions and see if someone can help...
Currently got a Cupra K1.. APR stage 2.. Looking at the Golf R, want the 4 wheel drive and the DSG box so my Stage2+/stage 3 can be used a lot more on the road without it just spinning its tits off.
first question.. does the golf r have a different downpipe with it being 4wheel.. currently have my miltek 200cel in my k1 and want to swap it of I can
second question.. ITG filter.. should swap straight over?
third.. WALK swaps straight over?
forth.. eibach sport lines.. straight over?
Any help would be good.. or feedback on the golf r at stage2+.. launch control.. 4wheel.. and DSG.. allm good features???
Thanks
Scott.
P.s sorry if in wrong forum.. please move if so.

Down pipe is a straight swap, as should be the air filter.
Sport lines will probably not be right because of the different weight of the R. WALK may be different, I'm not 100% sure.
-
DP is different. Prop in the way.
ITG fine, WALK fine, Springs will be as Subegh says, different due to the weights.

^^^ The Milltek downpipe/high flow cat fits both 2wd and 4wd TFSI cars

Everything except the sport lines will swap straight over. If you get an R with ACC then I'd suggest H&R Springs and ARB's will be all you need and ditch the Eibach's/ sell on.
Read my build thread in the Members ride section for a good idea of what a modified R can do.
Also plenty of people over on the RForum. :happy2:

Cheers for replys both.. Thought the downpipe was different due to 4wheel. Didnt know about springs so that's a help..
Iv sent awesome a cheeky email see if they can do me a deal on straight APR stage2+ map as Iv got it on the k1 already.. Anyone know how I can take the mapping back to standard on the k1? :s

So final answer is the downpipe fits ? Save me some money if it does lol... Just have to get rear section then and sell my k1 rear section on the bay

Surely it depends on when the dp was produced? Or have they always been the same with just the centre joiner being different?
-
The centre section backwards is different between fwd and 4wd. The downpipe has always been the same on the ones I've seen.....and I've seen a lot. I cannot say for certain that early ones are the same for sure, but it is a safe bet that if the Milltek has gone on in the last few years it will be.
