will golf seats fit a tiguan 2013 model? Basically my dad has bought a tiguan r line and doesnt like the seats that came in it says they are uncomfortable he sat in my r32 bucket seats now he wants a set but will they fit in a tiguan?
-
I Googled this not so long ago, and it seems the floor plan is similar to the Passat. I really want those Passat Recaro-non wing back seats

I would imagine the Recaro bucket seats wouldn't be the easiest thing to get in and out of due to the extra height on the Tiguan. We have leather in our Tiguan and they are a different design to the Golf's - doesn't mean they wont fit mind you.
It would cool to see buckets in a Tiguan, not sure they are really needed - standard GTI seats would be better maybe?

Still need to find out if they fit before deciding to buy anything but can see where your coming from about being hard to get into
-
Why don't you trial fit one of your seats

Got any pics?

Underneath the Tig is more like a mini Toureg than the Golf - probably irrelivant but I was suprised to hear it

Just sheer laziness tbh lol I hoped someone had done it before save taking seats out
-
True but if you do have to take them out cover your door step with a towel to save scratching and take your time as they're heavy get some to help
-
I had them out the other week to Hoover I didn't find them that awkward to take out I just lifted them up and brought the bottom of the seat out first

I tried to find this out. IIRC the floor is different to the Golf. As said though, no one has tried it yet so only way to confirm 100% would be to have a go.
