Title: What's involved witha de cat

Hi guys just wondering what's is involed in de-cating the gti is there a remap involved. Already have the milltek  cat back.

You will need a map to delete the check engine light that will appear. I cannot see the point in fitting a decat now as you can get high flow sports cats that do a fantastic job, keep you legal and you will only lose maybe 2 bhp over a decat. So you wouldnt notice a difference in performance and wouldnt have to keep fitting a cat to pass the MOT.
