...So I had a 170 GT Sport with a few mods which I sold a few months ago

I didn't come across this forum when I had my mk5 and the reason I've joined is to sell the xenons I've taken off my car.

Whilst this may seem a bit odd, I noticed Richwig is a moderator and I'm sure if he sees this thread he'll confirm I'm legit.. Known him via uk-mkivs for years and have met a couple of times  :happy2:

This is my mk4.. It was my first car, a bog standard 1.4 which I've converted to a 1.8t

Welcome to the forum, lovely mk4 you have I really like it. I know they weren't the best drive etc but still got to love a mk4 lowered on some tasty rims with a nice stance and a few very minor tweaks  :party: I had one also a long them lines too :happy2:

I recognise your username! I wouldn't be surprised if lots of the mk4 guys are on here having upgraded!

Thanks for the nice words :ashamed:... It looks a lot better in pics than up close!

Agree with you on the drive too...my mk5 handled very well for a standard car whereas the mk4 has needed various upgrades to get anywhere near a well handling car

You might remember me from a few years back, I used to have a blue polo, I convoyed up to DC11 with You, Hamidi and Olly.

Username rings a bell...that was one hell of a convoy! Miss those days, just don't get the time anymore  :sad1:

You got a build for your mk5? If the polo is the one I'm thinking of, it should be a good read!
