I have a monza wheel with a little bit of white worm appearing from the centre cap area.
The car was registered mid 2009, but whats VW's stance on corrosion?
Its not kerb damage and VW have been the only ones to have taken the wheels off...

I might be corrected on this because but I had a conversation with the VW man who was assessing my rusty wings last week and he said it was a paint issue so was only covered by the 3 year warranty, even then though he said he knew of very few successful claims but there are some who managed to get them done.
4 years on think you'll be lucky to get anywhere with them.

I had three of my wheels changed for white worm just before the three year warranty ended. They didn't touch the fourth as it had been repaired already

No chance pal! Whiteworm is inevitable on diamond cut wheels however careful you are. Just look at some of the many threads on here, even one current one going on just above yours.

Just askin', thats all...

Yeah that's fine. I wasn't having a go at you, just trying to be helpful. Sorry if it came across otherwise :happy2:
I had the same problem with my Monzas so I ended up getting them powdercoated recently to banish the whiteworm forever. Very happy with the results!

Nah, no problem! :happy2:
