Title: Engine light... Again!!!!

Had new turbo fitted, come back from hols and engine management light has come back on so got to back for them to look at. Seems to one thing after another. Question is from others experiences where do you draw the line with these cars as with new DMF and box and turbo looking at 2.5k spend lately and the car worth circa 5k

You draw the line when you want to.
My line was drawn when I put £15k into my old TDI, total spent around £20k including buying the car.

Also for a turbo, gearbox and flywheel £2.5k seems a lot. Perhaps try another garage.
Just scan it and take it one step at a time, no point panicking over something which could be minor.
