Quite simple mate, once you get the engine cover off of course.

Always worth doing it with a warm engine so as to soften up the rubbers.

To remove the coils I normally undo all of the plugs as they are on a rail which makes removing only one more difficult.

Be careful if you try to lever them up as they are fragile.

Thats what I assumed ... but we know what happens when you ass-u-me

Cheers guys.  Not do I swap it for another cylinder and see if it follows or just replace it - I suppose when removed if really bad you can tell... then I suppose should I swap them all...

Plus the new set may be a later revision.

I did hear the later one's dont handle the extra heat caused by remapping - not sure if it came to anything but Revo were investigating something

anyway, I've emailed revo just to check if they actually found anything out or if there is a specific revision I should be getting.  Will post up any info and let you know how I get on.

All I need then is a new turbo

I think I'm having similar issues to what Robin had - not boosting properly.

Coilpacks come out pretty easy - hardest bit was getting the connectors off, one had the clip missing which made it more difficult (that will be the stealer at the last service then when the plugs were changed!).

Also fitted a new coolant tank in the Mk4 to solve the dreaded STOP check coolant error - wonder if the mk5 will eventually have this issue.
