Post by: kam on July 03, 2013, 07:14:56 pm
Hi guys I have a pair of r 32 buckets. I have noticed that the leather cover is coming away at the rear where it tucks behind the shiney black seat trim, has anyone else noticed this , is this s design fault, is there a way it can be tucked back in without it coming free again , really annoying me any info would be magic thank you

I don't have this problem with mine, the leather is nice and tight. Perhaps somebody has previously had the backs off?
Is your car 3 or 5 door as mine is 5 door so the seats don't get tilted forward at all.

Hi Andy seats are from a five door a little strange doesn't look like the backs have been off just really annoying me. I thought they would have been put together a lot better to be honest seen as they cost so much to but ??

I have the cloth GTI Recaros and noticed this on my drivers side when cleaning the interior the other day. I was able to tuck it back in though, will keep an eye and see if it pops out again.
