Title: sub keeps coming on and going off

right people fitted my alpine sub and alpine amp but seems to only come on and go off all time really don't understand checked remote and all cables all seem fine but think it might be my ground could this cause it as really don't no where to ground it in a mk5 golf

will be the ground, where ever its grounded at the moment make sure all the paint has been scratched away.

right cleared all paint away its stop coming on and off but sounds rubbish but sub is very old now could it just be knacked

take a picture of the amps switches so i can see what you have it set to
