Title: New here
Post by: Yodi on July 07, 2013, 02:00:49 pm
Hi Guys,

new to this forum and just bought a GTi but not new to cars or forums in general, been on ED38 for over 8 years now :)

So being as sensible as I am the diesel has gone, it was a great car but so boring and under powered, I bought a new car today.

Basic details are 1 owner from new (0 previous) 55 Plate, 104,000 miles, Full Vw main dealer history with all receipts and original bill of sale and all books, still under Vw warranty, Dsg (love it) and the usual cruise, climate, 6 cd headunit rear park sensors etc

I've done 50 miles in it tonight, never had DSG before and I have changed my mind about what I had thought, they are nice and smooth.

The wheels could do with a refurb but the rest of the car is completely minty mint, always garaged until now.

Any comments welcome :)

Hi Guys,

No show for me, would like it to look nice but nothing silly I do 500 miles a week.

Even thinking of keeping the 17's on it.

I wouldn't mind a stage 1 remap to begin with.

I'd check the cam follower first before doing anything. It would be ripe for replacement with that mileage  :surprised:
