just asking some advice on fitting , if i put one of these units in is there anything else i need? will my car suffer from battery drain? many thanks for your help in advance :-)

Hello James
Ed nl will advice you better but I think you should be ok and nadlad on here is selling one and Ed might be up this way to retro fit on mine so he could fit and code it for you
-
2008 you should be ok to just fit it (its 2007 and earlier that suffer). Do you have VCDS?
-
Shouldn't have battery drain. Mine's a 57/2007 and had an L-canbus (you need k or above). Remember that registration may not reflect build date. You can use the rns without coding but it helps if the car knows it is fitted.
Think about antenna placement.
