Things to look out for on a MK5 GTi?

Mate of mine "JonnyFRS" recently got a GT TD 170 so know of a few issues like wings rusting etc.

What else should I be looking for?

I've a 05 gti and I've had wing rust split DV and new rear hubs due 2 the traction control rings rusting , and when u get one Ide take rear arch liner out and clear out the crap there it meets the cill  trim bit mine has holding loads of wet crap  part from that mines been mint  :smiley:
