Hi Guys! I was trying to undo the first nut to detach the down pipe from the turbo and managed to snap the bolt. (see pics below)
Has anyone got any advice on the best way to repair this?
I was attempting to remove it to perform the pre-cat delete. I already have 4 new nuts and a new gasket.
Thanks

Did you get the engine nice and hot and use lots of penetration oil? I have only ever seems one snap like that before.
might have to drill it out, message vrs Alex or PDT as they tale DPs off all the time

Engine was hot but didn't use any penetration oil unfortunately. Learning from my mistake :(
Put WD40 on all the others.
Was wondering if anyone knew if the studs are welded in on just reverse threaded or something?

I done the same when changing mine. I heated it up with a gas bottle till it was almost glowing red then got a pair of grips on it and removed it. They aren't reverse thread

Was it just a case of brute force to pull it out then?
Also, did you just put a nut and bolt through as a replacement?
Thanks

I just put a bolt in and screwed it in where the old stud screwed in. They are tight though. Just turn it anti clockwise.

Oh ok, so the stud is screwed onto turbo housing? Not sure ill have enough to grip onto. Cheer for the help.

Mine snapped when I did the pre-cat delete.
I had new bolts and new gasket. We put exhaust sealant on it and so far (over a month later) it's been fine. It's the awkward one to get to so you can't drill it out without dropping the turbo/manifold
We will do that and nut and bolt convert it rather than stud and nut in the future.
