Title: Price to supply and fit injector

Just got a quote from vw of £270 to supply and fit an new injector in cylinder 2 does this seem about right price the technition said its an hours work

the injector is £140 if its an s3 one so its a reasonable price

A specialist would be much cheaper in 90% of cases. VW's hourly rate isn't exactly cheap  :sad1:

ring a few indys but i feel it might be more than an hour they quote

make sure vw are ONLY going to charge you that, and when it takes 2/3 hours they charge more.

He said it only an hours labour to change the injector, should it take longer than an hour

i would have thought so. but providing its a set quote its a good price.

Well that's what he said £269 to supply and fit the injector with 5% discount on the parts and an hours labour so will soon see
