K04 conversion almost finished. What would be the best tuning solution in your opinion. I am based in London
-
I have revo on mine and am happy with the way it runs. I have never had the chance to have any other maps on it to see the difference but i think a lot of people on here like r-tech. :happy2:
-
  what sort of power output are you getting?
-
Sorry to butt in but whats the difference between Revos stage 2+ and stage3 (which is for a k04 build?)...
Can't go wrong with Revo...

Revo wasn't good for me when I had it BUT this is before they released the new file which solved the lean on idle fuel issue (switched afterwards)... Stage2+ and Stage3 (K04) I think its the same but with some tweaks due to different engines?
APR = massive torque! (Summer offer, and you control your map via Stalk!)
Revo not sure since the new file update...
Good reviews with R-Tech, unique custom tune for your car (good price too!)

Stage 3 is the software mapping for the k03 to k04 upgrade.

Revo on mine and no issues! Top support while doing the conversion too. ;D

Every ones numbers vary mine has ran 370bhp consistantly that most people would say converted cars cant get.(maybe a couple of dodgy dynos) James stage 2+ edition ran on the rollers straight after mine and only hit 345bhp with the apr map but did have slightly more torque. I think thats down to the edition's engine more than the map though. I think the normal number most people get from stage 3 is around the 330bhp accoring to people on here.

I took your advice and stopped recommending a trader that has always given me and numerous others great customer service for a great price, Just like AKS has done for TFSI mike etc. . . .
The strange thing is, once you have had your car mapped by them you get this overwhelming desire to tell everyone how good it was :innocent:
TBH R-Tech is selling its self on here and other forums i'm sure (see posts above), they dont need my praise anymore
PS: Still havent heard a bad word against them - almost unheard of for any tuner. But don't get me started. . . .
I'm all about APR now
Are you finally biting after this post: http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,69445.msg752406.html#msg752406

I can assure you, the only money trading hands was from me to them for the FANTASTIC remap I received :P
If you can accuse me, you can accuse everyone else for praising a tuner for good service. I also recommend Statllers for Cam belt changes at every opportunity I get (you missed an opportunity there TC )
Also, the last remap thread I commented on, I suggested a list of top tuners recommended on the forum.
As said in my response to your last comment about me supporting my local tuner, R-Tech don't even map the car I have now so I will be trying another specialist and will no doubt be singing their praises too (providing they do a good job).
As I said previously though, no one has ever come back and disagreed with what I've said so there is obviously some truth in it. :happy2:
Only the FACTS. . . . :star:

Well said Grahame :happy2:
