im off to statllers for the revo stage 2+ map soon from stage 2 and wondered what the linear throttle map is like to drive with compared to without.
i know its everyone to there own with this but steve at statller says some people think there cars dont feel as quick once theyve had this done??
any views anyone..??

i didnt try the linear map when i was k04 mate.. didnt really feel it was needed with good tyres.. do you feel you need it?
-
i say give it a try :happy2:
i prefer it now but give it a few weeks and some fairly spirited driving before make your mind up.
it does FEEL slower because of the power delivery being well, moré linear, but with stg 2+ power this is better ie in 1st and 2nd gear much easier to get all of the power down cleanly :driver:
do you have a diff fitted?

Linear every time for me. Makes the car far more driveable. Also improves fuel economy.

no mate no diff....it just feels abit like the 2nd half of the throttle isnt really needed most of the time as it already boosts at 20% throttle..it just boosts so quickly with virtually no lag when you do want to give it beans which i like i suppose but different to any other turbo car ive driven before..

I'd say it deffo doesn't feel as fast, ill probably just leave it now though, but in hindsight I would of stuck with the standard file. I would agree though MPG is noticeably better :happy2:
