Hi guys,
Who has made the jump from Stg2+ to a custom map with WMI on a KO4, I know E30Dom is planning on doing it.
What is the fitted cost of map and wmi install? Do you have to have the meth in your boot or can you simply but it in your screenwash canister?
Is an e boost controller required as well?

a seperate tank in your boot I would.. And you shouldn't need a boost controller

IIRC R-Tech won't fit the WMI.
James's car is running the map you are after (although no two maps are the same) - basically the "stage" you are after. James is the best person to speak to for advice etc. Dont think you need an e boost controller.
You would need to speak to Nick on the pricing (although he is on holiday now) :happy2:
Will be an animal when its finished mate - you should see an easy 378bhp & 450lb ft, which it will hold right across the top of the rev range (for about 2k RPM). If you upgrade the LPFP Nick recons 400bhp+ is reliable with that setup (depending on exhaust & intake).
Heres a lil wave for TC - no doubt waiting for me to comment on this :pomppomp:

cheers is james away in NZ at mo? That amount of torque seems a bit OTT for the gearbox etc would it not?

yeah he is - although hes on here from time to time so well worth a PM.
The gearbox takes it no problems, although the OEM clutch wouldnt stand a chance  - Unless your DSG?

Looks like i'm gonna have to wait til next year before i do it as R-Tech need my car for 2-3 days and as it's a daily and have no holiday left(paternity/accident) I just can't get the logistics to work...
At least it give me time to fit Large TB, discharge pipe and throttle pipe...
Dom
P.S Berg - Screws are here with me at work waiting for me to get to a post office to post - haven't forgotten! ;)

yeah i have fitted those pipes and neuspeed power pulley
-
what did you think of the power pulley?
-
what did you think of the power pulley?
was not expecting much put seems to rev a bit more freely, like it is not making the car notciceably more powerful with your butt dyno but just that the needle is getting round the rev counter quicker, plus mpg may be slightly better too?
-
Perhaps I'll do the pullet after all lol
Need to get Alex to do me a TB pipe too.

i could do with a dyno run to be honest to see if any difference after that the tb pipe fitted.
