Title: Modding your MK5 with the VAG parts bin only...

Was thinking if you wanted to choose the software of your choice but then have an oem+ only car you could still have a fairly formidable VAG only car.

Eg mine now has -

S3 intercooler, TT wishbones, S3 rear brakes, RS4 valve, R8 coolant and oil caps, MK6 reversing camera, boot pop, polo 6r aerial, open fogs, 996tt front brakes.

but what would you do about the tbe? which would be the best option of an oem bolt on? guess you would have to go with a cai too...

milltek with say a vwr intake would suit oem nicely

Knock both cats out of the exhaust and chop out the rear box under the boot floor or just decat it
