Title: MK5 options, are any of these standard ?

Hi Guys

Just checking that these are options and not standard fit to a GTi.

I am going to sell my car and it'll help in the advert.

- Heated front Screen
- Auto Headlights
- Cruise control
- Auto Wipers
- Auto dim rear view mirror
- Electric folding & heated mirrors

Also, someone told me 55 plate was a good year of GTI as they had no roof aerial, and an 8 speaker set up not 6 is that true?

Auto wipers mirrors and headlights  are standard features.  :happy2: Heated front screen.  :chicken: i have never seen a MK 5 Golf with one.

So the heated and folding aspects of the morrors are both standard?

How about these too:

- Multifunction steering wheel
- 6 CD Headunit
- Rear parking sensors
- Front centre armrest

The heated front screen button isnt actually a heated front screen, it just gives full heat and A/C directly to the front screen. The A/C makes it very effeective at clearing any condensation.  :happy2:

Puddle lights come with the folding mirrors.
Headlights that stay on after you lock the car is standard.

PMSL, I didn't even know we were restricted so wasn't intentional.. I run a forum too, so I know why we put the rules in etc

55 plate doesn't necessarily mean no roof aerial as I have one on my 55 plate. 8 speakers is standard - 10 with the optional sound pack - never six. Will also have the blue tinted glass though rather than green on newer cars.

Bit of a late reply but I'm pretty sure mine doesn't have folding mirrors so don't think they are standard...
