Hi all,
I have an RNS 510 with bluetooth phone prep. I added the phone prep which was a soda one recommended on this site somewhere.
My aux input in the glove box has never worked but I just found a setting on the head unit to stream via bluetooth which I had never considered. It doesn't seem to work though. I my phones bluetooth settings (android) only says "car audio, use for phone audio" it doesn't mention music.
Any ideas how I can get it working? Could it be bluetooth or head unit firmware or is it an android issue?

I have just tried forgetting and re connection the phone but no luck. Also I have tried it with an I phone 4s and still no luck. I when in the media screen the bluetooth symbol is there but is greyed out. This suggests that it is the car rather than the phone?

It doesn't work streaming music with the skoda bluetooth!!!
it has to be the genuine vw kits or the fiscon

If I wanted to change to a vw bluetooth unit can the wiring stay? I would just need a new box? Any ideas if I would need firmware update?

The wiring loom doesn't need to be changed. Just the Bluetooth module which should be plug and play. I would suggest something like the 7P6 Bluetooth module, have a look on eBay (try and get the latest version) or give Eddie-NL a shout.
