Title: Golf GTI fog light bulb - which size/fitment?

Need to replace a foglight bulb on my GTI, have checked Halfords and Eurocarparts websites and had no luck confirming exactly which one is required.

It has the normal halogen headlights and foglights, can anyone confirm what bulb I need?

Looks like its 9006 is this correct?

If its the reflector type then should be h11 the older fish I type is hb4 9006 ...just pop it out takes 5 mins ..one screw for grill then pull it off ...bit of brute force needed ..then three screws to remove fog light and you can pop the cover off the back

This is the problem, I have looked online but owners are saying different things. 

I have halogen headlights so just have the standard fog lights too, would these be reflector or fish eye then torque777 ?

On the left is a h11 bulb and on the right is the larger 9006/hb4 connecter

H11 for projector (05 to 06ish)
H4B for reflector (06is onwards)

There was an overlap period over te 06/56 reg
