That would be a starting point for the GT30.

The reasoning behind it must be that 420bhp is the limit they set as safe for the OEM pistons and rods.

With uprated internals you could push the 420bhp significantly higher.

The GT2871R would be a better bet if you didn't want to go higher than 420bhp as it spools slightly faster than the GT30. :happy2:

i had a remap done by MRC TUNING -  on my MK5 GTI - am very impressed, very toque and responsive!

also the remap is custom so they the laptop plugged in while your driving, i had a fuel ratio issues which they sorted as well!

Tried mailing them about their kit but no reply yet was really interested to see if they are running standard internals. Think i'm ready for the bt route but very worried about runnig standard internals with 400+bhp after a few horror stories on a couple of the forums? Yeah hurdy think it must be turned down a little.

Its just an ATP kit.. The prices they are charging are comedy..

"Expect to pay between £6500 to £7500 inc vat, fitting and a map" Thats in response from a query I sent a year ago.. Bare in mind you can buy an ATP kit for £1500 and map from Revo for £700.. So £5k worth of fitting?? lol..
