having drank a fair few i say the Moretti has the edge, but Peroni seems far more popular?
Whats your favourite lager? Skol?
-
Stella!!!! Or Budweiser......
-
Merreti or if you can find it Alhambra Reserva 1925 yum yum
-
Never had a Moretti but like a pint of Nastro Azzurro :happy2:
-
Augustiner Edelstoff.
-
I dont really drink lager in the UK.
In Italy we drank a fair amount of the red labelled Peroni................................................ which was nice.
-
Peroni are quite nice, prefer Michelob but tbh, anything cold on these hot days is welcome
-
not keen on stella or bud tbh unless nothing else to choose from at a bbq or something.
michelob now thats a blast from the past.. do they still make it :signLOL:
mmmm quite fancy trying that one hedge has mentioned.
been trying the american IPA's recently - Grey Goose from Chicago and Sierra Nevada from California, really, really nice :happy2:
-
Yeah sierra is nice.... they sell that in the Byron burger joints in london. :drinking:
-
I now feel like an un-cultured little sh*t
-
I like both.
-
Wife works for the brewer that distributes Corona, which is my lager of choice most of the time.
-
Can't say I've had moretti but I think peroni is  ha , lagers for me would be forsters, bud, Stella, amstel and Heineken.
Writing this is tempting me to go sample one or two
-
A ice cold peroni works for me :happy2:

not overly keen on corona as gave me a massive hangover a few times althgough tastes fine at the time.
Red Stripe in a can = hangover from hell the day after :stupid:
-
Who the hell drinks fosters?? :signLOL:
-
Plenty of people. It's a bit sweeter than most so apparently suits the British palate.
Wouldn't touch the gassy, piss-tasting stuff myself.
-
Red Stripe. Jamaican Lager Beer as is says on the tin!
Lovely :happy2:
-

Corona extra is second best to Red Stripe...you need to drink a few glasses of water before going to bed to cure the hangovers
-
Have had 3 versions of Peroni, the red labelled one, the most common Nastro and a Gran Reserva one bought in Tesco. Didn't go much on the first, like the 2nd, but not the price in pubs (£4.10 a pint in my local!) and the 3rd was a right head banger and far too strong to be enjoyable. Had that syrupy Special Brew vibe about the flavour.

Veltins or Bitburger for me :drinking:

not familiar with those at all.
tonight i had a nice ice cold Becks... :congrats:

They are obviously German and fairly rare in this county. A few places have bitburger on tap... but ive never seen Veltins this side of the North Sea.

I like Veltins but I'm battered after three pints so I don't drink the stuff anymore.

Northern German beers. :booty:

Hacker-Pschorr 'Helles' from Beers of Europe website , the taste of Munich! Absolutely outstanding. I would rather drink my own ice cold piss than drink Carling or Fosters , absolutely rancid.
