As per the title - Brembo or Pagid?
I have searched the various threads but I'm not sure there is any consensus.
I don't do a big mileage and I don't drive that hard - certainly no Track Days. I don't want pads that need any warming up these days either!
But I do want brakes that work when I need them !
I don't want disks/pads that wear too quickly or pads that create a lot of dust on my fresh washed wheels........ or create noise......
I'm not really fussy Laugh
Any thoughts welcome.
Thanks

Just get the OEM stuff whatever that may be. I think i have brembo pads. They are fine

I also have pagid discs. Fine aswell

Pagid discs and pads are fine, make sure to use some ceratec grease on the back of the pads to stop any squealing... have a fluid change for decent pedal feel. :happy2:

Thanks guys.
My only concern about Pagid is that I used them a few years ago on my (rather fast) SAAB and they did not wear well or give me the braking effect I wanted. I guess they have moved on? You guys use them ok!
I may go for Brembo if they are closest to OEM. They are a bit more expensive though.

Depends how many ponies they are reigning in... for a standard K03 GTI they are fine. Once you start tuning it, you'll be wanting the R32 or 4 pot callys to make a noticeable difference. :happy2:
