Rhys Barker, 27, from Manchester, bought the second-hand Corsa with an 2003 plate earlier this year for just £1,400 but when he tried to buy insurance one company quoted £1.2million.

And yet a 22 year old can insure a MK5 gti for 1080 a year, with all his modifications covered.

unfair on young drivers my arse! if I reported  everytime I got a stupid quote I'd be able to pay 1.2 milliom lmao
