Probably going to order my intake this week. All along I've set out to get the ITG or Revo intake but recently I read a few good things about the P-Flo. Just wondered what people's opinions are and if anybody runs it?
Thanks

Got it on my Cupra K1. Good upgrade over stock, noise is immense if your into the whole spooling/fluttering sounds.
Well worth the money IMO.

Haven't run one myself. Was talked out of it. In terms of performance there is better out there. Going for an EVOMs myself. Only 80 quid more.

I know its not everyones cup of tea but for me the more sound the better!
Haven't looked at the EVOMs before.. Looks a smart intake! Does it still have the same spooling and fluttering sound as the others?

Evoms is one of, if not the loudest

You told me to buy the EVOMs Rich :signLOL: :signLOL: :signLOL:

I am more than happy with my P-Flow. Yes, it is quite loud (Sounds purposeful though).
I had a look into the specs for the different flow rates for the EVOMS vs P-Flow but could find nothing on the EVOMS. At the end of the day they are just unrestricted pipes with high flow filters on the end. I would have thought the performance difference between the two is minimal (there is probably more variation in 2 different tanks of petrol!)
As for looks; they look pretty much the same and nearly no-one sees it anyway! The EVOMS has the filter slightly tipped down (an expensive bend IMO).
In any case I find driving around with my bonnet up so people can see my CAI is very dangerous, as the view out of the windscreen is severely restricted and on the MK5 the wipers are disabled. Also leaving it open in car parks and on the drive is just asking to have bits stolen. :P
Oh, and I got a 4 day old P-Flow at 1/2 price because the seller didn't like the sound (no-brainer). It's not for sale. :happy2:

Where is the best/cheapest place to buy the EVOM intake ?
-
If you want more quiet P-flo.. go fo AEM Dryflow filter on them. Difference between supplied K&N filter is very noticeble.

Thanks for the feedback. Looks like it might have to be the EVOMs.
Regal seems the best place to buy unless anyone knows anywhere else?

Evoms is one of, if not the loudest
+1
I have one and it sounds incredibly loud! Think Darth Vader using a megaphone and you get the idea
